BURLINGTON GATE (12) is struggling to find the winners' circle but has been around the mark, last start finishing second over 1m2f at this track. Jumps from a good draw so she gets her chance. DANE ON TOUR (5) has recently been thereabouts without winning, the latest effort a sixth over 1m at Cranbourne. Has the blinkers removed. Rates highly and a bold showing is expected. KIMMORLEY (3) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out after being in contention on the turn to score by a nose over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool. This doesn't look as hard so he is one of the main contenders. WAY UP HIGH (11) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2f at this track, beaten 4 lengths into sixth. Finds a nice race and can atone.
