Sure to prove very tough to beat. AUSVARDIA (5) is a progressive four-year-old mare who resumes from a break of 11 months, her last appearance being a win over 7¼f at Geelong at her only run of that campaign. Fitter for a recent trial at Bendigo. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Best form puts her right in this. SIR DOMIGO (2) raced close to the lead before clearing out to score an effortless 2 lengths win over 7f at Echuca last time. One of the main contenders. KISS ME NED (6) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 2.25 lengths from the winner in second over 1m at Echuca. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out.
