PLATINUM FIELD (2) resumes from a lay-off of six months and is having his first outing under new trainer Ciaron Maher. Finished sixth at this track over 5½f at the opening run last time in work. Best fresh figures put him right in this. TURN UP THE MUSIC (6) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fourth, beaten 7 lengths, over 5f136yards at Geelong. Will drift back but will be getting home hard. TOO MUCH GOLD (5) returns after seven months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a tenth over 7¼f at Kilmore. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. HELL OF A TRIP (8) finished second last start over 6f at Echuca, beaten 3.5 lengths. Fitter for that run. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race.
