Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. AUTUMN SLIDE (15) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a second, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 1m1f at this track. Overdue for a win and a big run is on the cards. MATRIARCH ROSE (13) has not won for a long while. Last raced on August 20 when beaten 1.5 lengths into sixth at Sandown-Lakeside over 1m. Likely improver with strong prospects.
