KARBURAN (6) hasn't been too far away of late, the latest effort a fourth, beaten 2 lengths, at this track over 1m4f. Should park just off the speed. Expected to be in the finish. ROARING ENGINE (7) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 5 lengths when sixth in a 1m4 1/2f contest at Moonee Valley a month ago. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. SHE SAID (8) has scored at her last three starts, most recently by 0.8 lengths over 1m2 1/2f at Sandown-Lakeside as favourite. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with four wins from seven outings. Can feature again. I AM THE EMPIRE (1) could only manage fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m4f at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths. Suitably placed so he can be prominent again.
