REGAL AWARD (6) is a two-start maiden who finished fifth, beaten 2.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Moonee Valley. Plenty of scope for improvement and is a great chance to break through. SEVEN OCEANS (13) is back from a break and will be improved on two recent trial placings. Rates highly and looks set to run well. WETUMPKA (8) fought on well for second last start over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside, making it two minor placings in a row. Expected to run well again. PERFECT NIGHT (14) was fair on debut last time out when fourth over 5½f at Bendigo. Should appreciate the extra ground. Can figure in the finish.
