STARS IN THE NIGHT (8) was in the money two starts back at Launceston but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 3.5 lengths, at this track over 5¾f after being in contention on the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. FEAR THE STING (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 4f at Longford, beaten 3 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. WARICA (3) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fifth over 5f at this track after he travelled towards the rear of the field. INTISAR (1) started at 9/2 last time but could only manage sixth, beaten 3 lengths, at this track over 5¾f. Will drift back but wind up late. Must be respected.
