DADANDHISGIRLS (1) debuted with a win two runs ago. Less impressive last time out when third over 5f at this track, beaten 4 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. SKY LAND (10) accounted for a maiden field over 5½f at Hobart last start, finishing a neck ahead of the nearest rival. Big chance to go back-to-back. LITTLE RIVER TOFF (6) will find this a little easier after missing the frame in town last time, finishing eighth over 1m2 1/2f at Hobart. Looks well placed here and is a likely improver. SYRUP (11) was beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh in a 6¾f contest at this track at his latest appearance. No surprise to see him in the frame.
