FIVE STAR KING (2) turned in a nice run when resuming at Mornington then wasn't too far away last time over 6f at Mornington, finishing eighth and beaten 3 lengths. Nicely placed to make amends. FORTYFOUR MAGNUM (6) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Ballarat but raced below expectations last time over 5½f at Kyneton, finishing seventh and beaten 5 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. IL CIELO (4) was last at the races when he finished fifth over 1m at Tatura on September 8. Can make his presence felt. QUBELLA (14) scored last start at Balnarring to make it two wins from two starts this campaign. Will find this a little tougher but is too good to overlook.
