IMMORTALISED (2) was in the firing line on the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6f at Moe after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has the talent to figure prominently. TITANIC (1) faced the starter for the first time and finished fourth last start at Stawell over 5½f, beaten 1. 75 lengths. Will have a lot more to offer this time. THEYCALLMETHUNDER (6) finished second, beaten a head, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Bordertown after he was prominent at the bend. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is capable of a big run. PAFITIS (5) resuming from a ten months break after finishing 11th in the G2 VRC Sires' Produce Stakes at Flemington and resumes here a gelding. Fitter for placing in a recent Cranbourne trial. Generally runs well when resuming. Has to be respected.
