Race Tip

GOING NUCLEAR (3) was sent out favourite last time and scored by a head over this trip at this track. Has a good record at this course and distance, including two wins and two placings. Expected to measure up. DIVINE PURPOSE (4) wasn't far away last time and is edging towards a win, the latest effort a solid second over 7¾f at Mackay. Has the ability to take this out. PEROVIC (6) didn't do a bad job when second last start after being in contention on the bend over 1m1f at Innisfail, beaten a nose. That followed a win at Cairns the start prior. Sean Cormack gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. HYDE PARK (12) was not far away last time out, finishing second over 7f at this track. Weight reduction will suit. Is going well this campaign, recording a win and a minor placing from three starts. Best form too good to ignore.
