Race Tip

DRAGON TALES (2) started favourite at the last run before a break but could only manage second at this track. Fitter for a minor placing in a recent Townsville trial. Has ability and sure to prove tough to beat. OLD GOLD (4) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of seven months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 5½f at Rockhampton. Set for a bold return. GOT THIS (11) went forward last start over 5f at Bowen and held on well for second, beaten a long neck. Should be prominent in the run despite the wide draw. Meets a stronger field but she is good enough to take this out. HAPHAZARD (3) is a three-year-old gelding on debut from the stable of Louise Terzi. By Headwater from Really Fickle. Placed at his most recent trial. Top-three chance.
