Best figures stack up and looks well placed to get off the mark. DALT JAZ (6) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 5½f at Mackay after being in contention all the way. Has good early pace. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. NATIONAL GOAL (1) drifted back from his wide draw last time then hit the line hard to finish third at this track over 1m. Tough to stop again. ARIK LAD (10) ran below expectations last time after being prominent on the turn at this track, finishing 12th and beaten 9 lengths starting at 7/1. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
