NIGHTSTICK (3) bounced back last start and landed the prize by one length as public elect over 7f at Sunshine Coast Poly. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. DIVAKARA (8) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 7f at this track when fresh from a lay-off. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will be tough to hold out. ITALIAN DANCER (11) started at 5/2 last time on the back of a win at this track two starts ago but was below his best, finishing ninth over 6½f at this track. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. JULIETA (12) was prominent at the bend and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6f at Gold Coast Poly, beaten 6 lengths. Will benefit from that outing. Placed to advantage and can fill another top-three spot.
