Opened last prep with a minor placing at this track over 5f. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Sunshine Coast Inner Track trial. Has ability and sure to prove tough to beat. KEEP SAFE (4) has been in the money two times including when resuming last start on November 29 when second over 6f at this track. Has a sound record here with two top-three finishes from three starts. Among the leading players. FRENCH EMPIRE (5) will find this a little easier than his third on debut six weeks ago, beaten 7 lengths at the end of 5f at this track. Will benefit from that experience so he should be in the finish. TUDAYA (10) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in fourth over 5½f at Sunshine Coast Poly. Open to plenty of improvement.
