SIRIUS STATEMENT (8) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 6½f at Wangaratta. Can measure up again. NIGHT PEOPLE (4) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish seventh, beaten 6 lengths, over 6½f at Cranbourne. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. JUSTDOIT (2) resumed over 6f at Pakenham last start and was too good for her rivals, scoring by half a length. Will be better for that latest run and is among the leading chances. STEPCHILD (3) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f at Pakenham, beaten 5.5 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
