PARIS AFFAIR (2) wound up strongly last time out to finish 1.5 lengths adrift in third over 7f136yards at Geelong when coming back from a lay-off. Settles back early but winds up late. Will prove tough to beat. MOON LIGHTNING (6) showed early speed from a good draw when resuming last start then battled on well for second, beaten 1.75 lengths, over 7½f at Cranbourne. Has the class to take this out. PARIS SHIRAZ (12) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Echuca over 1m. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. DAY IN HEAVEN (4) produced a reasonable effort when fourth last start over 1m at Pakenham. That followed a win at Horsham the start prior. Expect a better run this time.
