Well placed and should be in the finish. THAMES (12) was given a short break after hitting the frame over 6f at Mornington. Kept ticking over with a subsequent trial at Rosehill. Winning claims on best figures. WAVE BREAKER (10) made a strong late bid but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Warwick Farm. Will take a lot from that hitout. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. DUCK EGG BLUE (11) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a long neck from the winner in second over 6f at Gosford. Finds a nice race and can keep improving.
