CORMAC T (18) boxed on to finish third last start over 7¾f at Canterbury, beaten 1.1 lengths when fresh from a lay-off. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. NAVAL COMMISSION (12) did well when resuming over 7¾f at Canterbury last start, finishing second and beaten 1.3 lengths. When resuming run. Expected to run well. SCALEXTRICS (8) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 7f at Randwick Kensington. Will drift back but wind up late. Watch for a big run. OUR EMPRESS ZOE (15) was prominent at the bend and finished second last time over 1m at Warwick Farm, beaten 1.5 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing.
