NORTHERN EYES (1) was prominent at the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 7½f at Hawkesbury after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. WALKING PAINTING (3) got well back over 1m at Randwick last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 19 lengths away in 15th. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. GENERAL SOHO (6) scored narrowly over 1m1 1/2f at Newcastle last time out with this jockey Aaron Bullock in the irons. Nice weight drop so he is one of the contenders again. STAR IMPACT (9) finished sixth last start over 1m at Warwick Farm after racing on the pace for much of the way. Sure to give a sight.
