THANKS GORGEOUS (11) is yet to break through after six career starts. Could only manage to finish fourth last time out over 6f in the G3 Thoroughbred Club Stakes at Caulfield following a minor placing at Bendigo when fresh from a lay-off the run prior. Won't get too many better chances to open her account. YELLOWJACKET (13) wound up strongly last time out to finish half a length adrift in second over 5f at Pakenham on debut. Can measure up. LAYLA (6) is a three-year-old filly on debut from the stable of Ben, Will & Jd Hayes. By Justify from Belhamage. Looks forward enough after a Flemington trial win. Bold showing expected.
