Looks ready to step up and can go on with the job. CAVERN (3) was safely held when fourth last start over 5f at Caulfield Heath, beaten 3. 5 lengths. That followed a good win on debut at Bendigo. Likely improver with strong prospects. BOLD BORDEAUX (1) showed good early speed over 6f at Kyneton on debut last start and went on to salute by a neck. Harder here but can figure in the finish.
