MRS CHRISSIE (2) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner as favourite last start over 5½f in the LR Christmas Stakes at Caulfield Heath. Has race fitness on her side now. In the right race and is one of the big hopes. FICKLE (6) was a determined winner last time at Moonee Valley, scoring by 0.8 lengths over this distance. Drops significantly in the weights so she should run well. PHILOSOPHER (3) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Geelong over 5½f. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.
