SHINING SMILE (1) has not been sighted since he scored over 5f at Caulfield Heath on November 20. Will prove tough to beat. BERMONDSEY (2) is a gelding on debut by Hanseatic from Gin Lizzie. Not seen at the trials. Bold showing expected. MENSHEVIK (3) is a nicely bred two-year-old colt lining up for the first time. By Russian Revolution from Ganda who has produced some fine gallopers, including winners at black type level. Has not been produced in a public trial. Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Looks set to make a positive start to his career despite an awkward draw. OLATUNDE (4) is a two-year-old colt who was purchased for AUD $ 300,000 (Magic Millions 2024 Gold Coast Yearling Sale) and has not been seen on the track in a stall trial trial to date. Hard to assess, so will pay to keep safe.
