SOMEBODYTOLOVE (9) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 2.5 lengths when fourth in a 1m contest at Sandown-Lakeside two weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. STEVE'S WAY (4) built on a nice third two starts back at Wagga with a win over 7f at Wodonga three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a head. Simon Miller scored on her last time and retains the ride. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is up to the challenge. PACIFIC CROSS (7) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1m at Sandown-Lakeside after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. SURPRISE VALLEY (3) showed good early dash and raced on the speed at the first run back from a break last start before fading to finish 5.5 lengths back in eighth over 6½f at Sandown-Lakeside. Sure to give a sight.
