PURVEYOR (2) showed little early speed and was always well back last start when 14th, beaten 26 lengths, over this journey in the G1 Queensland Derby at Eagle Farm. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is sure to be prominent. SIRVEKE (1) bounced back last start and got the job done by a long neck after being in the firing line on the turn over 1m1 1f at Tatura. Steps up a level but he is capable of another big run. HERRLICH (4) finished 5.5 lengths away in ninth last time out over 1m2f at Flemington after being in the firing line on the bend a week-and-a-half ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. One to consider. TAIKYU (3) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1m2 1/4f at Moe, scoring by half a length. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. This is tougher but he is capable of another big run.
