BRONTE BEACH (2) resumed last time out and finished third over 7f at Pakenham, beaten 2 lengths. Genuine type with two wins from six starts. This looks an ideal assignment. PRINCESS MESS (5) made it two wins in succession last start when she scored by 1. 75 lengths over 6½f at Stawell. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. PROVEN SOUL (8) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 0. 8 lengths from the winner in second over 6f at Seymour. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. CHOCOLATE BOX (3) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by a head over 6f at Pakenham.
