HIT SQUAD (4) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was prominent at the bend before being beaten 2. 75 lengths into fourth over 1m at Kilmore. Meeting a tougher field but with added fitness he is good enough to take this out. TAGALAON (9) wound up strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1m at Pakenham.
