OFF THEIR PERCH (11) opened this prep last start with a third, beaten 3. 5 lengths, over 5½f at Pakenham. Hard to go past. WONBOYN (2) is a talented gelding who has been in the money at both appearances. Has not been produced since he got the prize over 7½f at Yarra Valley on March 24. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Will give a great sight. ON THE LOOSE (6) was too good for a maiden field last start over 6½f at Geelong, scoring by half a length. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped. HOOK 'N' SPUR (3) could only manage seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7f at Geelong, beaten just 1. 5 lengths. No surprise to see him in the mix.
