A BOOK OF DAYS (1) was well fancied last time and did a good job to finish third over 6½f at Bendigo at the third run of the prep. Should be ready to show his best now so a breakthrough is on the cards. CANTOLAGO (8) last appeared when she finished fifth over 1m at Benalla on December 16. One of the genuine hopes in the race. DISSELATION (3) went forward last time but couldn't quicken in the run home and finished sixth over 7f at Pakenham. Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment. FUTATSU (9) resumes from a lay-off of six months and is having her first outing under new trainer Ciaron Maher. Finished seventh at Kyneton over 7f58yards at the opening run last time in work.
