Race Tip

DISCO PRINCE (1) started at 10/11 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths at Pakenham over 1m after being in the firing line on the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. LINAS REEL (5) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 1.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m at Caulfield Heath. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. WHAT A CROSS (10) was well supported on debut last start and turned in a strong effort to finish third over 1m at Bairnsdale. Must be included among the main hopes. I'M BACK IN TOWN (4) is yet to break through after seven starts. Missed the placings last time out over 5½f at Ballarat. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Must be respected.
