SUPER TALON (6) wound up strongly last time out to finish a head adrift in third over 5½f at Mackay when resuming after a break. Will be tough to stop again. DARLING CLEMENTINE (9) was impressive last time at Thangool, scoring by 5 lengths over this trip. Well placed and should be in the finish. PALATIAL PRINCE (1) was sent out at long odds last time but ran above expectations to finish second, beaten only a nose, over 6f at Dalby. Chloe Lowe has registered three minor placings when on board. Should be involved in the finish. GILBERT'S GOLD (3) is overdue for a win with four placings from six outings this prep, the latest effort a third over 5½f at this track. Don't underestimate.
