EL OF A SENORITA (8) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish fourth over 7f at Thangool. Sure to give a great sight. MENARI MAGIC (6) finished one length from the winner in fourth last start over 1m at Gatton, an improvement on her fifth at Toowoomba the run before. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is capable of a big performance. I AM TAKINGTHELOT (4) will find this a little easier after missing the frame in town last time, finishing tenth over 6¾f at Doomben. Record at this journey is impressive with two wins and two placings from six runs and has winning claims on best figures. TOP SPY (2) is back at the races for the first time since March 26. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6f at this track. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
