PIERATA'S GEM (17) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f at Randwick, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to find some form. TRANSCEND (10) was well held in the Adrian Knox Stakes won by Profoundly over 1m2f at Randwick at her last appearance four months ago. Well placed and looks a key runner. MAMUSHKA (11) finished second at Warwick Farm two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 7f at Warwick Farm, finishing 4 lengths back in ninth. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
