EVICTION NOTICE (8) finished second, beaten 3 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Warwick Farm after he was prominent at the turn. Likely improver with winning claims. THREADS (12) resumes from a lay-off of five months and looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 6f in the G3 Black Opal Stakes at Canberra. Has had the benefit of two trials leading into this. All set for a bold return. SEQUINNED (13) returns after five-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a sixth over 5½f in the Pierro Plate at Randwick. Has trialled two times leading into this. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. WANDA'S SPARK (14) is a nicely bred filly by sire Tagaloa from the stakes-winner Wandabaa on debut. Showed ability in a recent trial win at Randwick. Watch for market confidence.
