CENTURY SONG (3) returned to winning form as favourite last start, scoring by one length over this journey at Kembla Grange. Has a good record at this trip with three wins and four minor placings. In form and should go well again. RANTAN (5) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race when she did her best work late and finished 1. 2 lengths away in fifth last time out over 5f at Randwick. Has the talent to put the recent run of form behind her. OCCULT (8) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at Randwick with a win as public elect over 5½f at Scone two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a nose after being in the firing line on the bend. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of another big performance. SPECK (9) hasn't been far away recently including last time out when second over 5f at Tamworth. Will find this much tougher but is not to be discounted.
