IRONBLOOD EMPRESS (8) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was always well out of her ground over 6½f at Hawkesbury, beaten 1. 5 lengths into fourth. Goes up a rung or two but she is worth another chance. PHANTOM MAJOR (1) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 6¼f at Newcastle on debut. Leading player again. CROWN OF FIRE (6) was solid on debut last start when beaten 2. 5 lengths into fourth over 6f at Sandown-Hillside on July 15. In the mix. CLAUDEL (2) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last time over 7f at Warwick Farm, beaten 1. 2 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Nicely placed to run well again.
