DASHING RUPERT (6) settled well back then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 5 lengths away in seventh last time out over 6f at Kembla Grange two weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Harder here but expected to measure up. ROLLING MAGIC (2) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a head, over 6½f at Rosehill when returning from a break. Winning rider Josh Parr stays aboard. Expecting a bold showing. STARMAN (8) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a sixth over 7f at Kembla Grange. This doesn't look as hard so he is sure to be prominent. HOW MUCH BETTER (10) made late ground and finished third last time over 6f at Gosford when resuming from a lay-off, beaten a nose. Meeting a deeper field this time but he cannot be ruled out.
