THE CHAMPION (7) was at long odds on debut last time out and finished sixth, beaten 2. 5 lengths, over 5f at Kembla Grange. Open to sharp improvement and can get off the mark this time. ICHIBAN KOJI (1) returned last time with a solid third at Canterbury over 6f when he made late ground. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is one of the primary contenders. CELLARMASTER (5) has not raced since his debut back on July 15 when he finished fourth over 6f at Newcastle. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well.
