MISS SANTORINI (4) finished 2.25 lengths back in second over 7f at Sale last time out after a gutsy win the start prior. Commendable record at this trip with a win and three minor placings and should prove tough to beat. NORTH CHANNEL (2) turned in a strong run last time at the first run of the prep when he settled well back before running on hard to be beaten only a nose into second over 7f at this track. The winkers come off this time and will strip much fitter. Sure to go close. LET'S GET DOWN (12) raced in town last time and wound up nicely, finishing fifth at Sandown-Lakeside and finds an easier class here. Looks suited first attempt at this trip and should be tough to stop again. GREY NORTHERN (6) returns after a lay-off of 11 weeks. Looking to emulate her win at this track at the beginning of last prep. Can make her presence felt.
