Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be underestimated. REGAL VOW (10) continued a hot streak of form, winning over 1m at Flemington last start to make it three straight. Same winning combination as last time and can measure up again. IMPERIAL LAD (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Caulfield, beaten 4 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the bend. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. WRITEY O'PAL (9) scored last start at this track to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Should be prominent from the low draw. Can feature in the finish.
