GETTY (4) started at 15/8 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 2.75 lengths at Canberra over 5f after being in the firing line on the bend. Taking on a better line-up this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. DENI GAL (9) found the line nicely to grab second last time out over 5½f at Nowra. One of the main contenders. DEEP SHIMMER (6) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 5f at Sapphire Coast when fresh from a break. Goes well at this trip, recording three minor placings and is right in the mix. SAIKO (2) finished third last start over 5f190yards at Albury, beaten 1.4 lengths. Will strip fitter this time.
