HALKIS (4) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at her last couple of runs including a second most recently over 1m at Canberra when beaten 1.2 lengths. Won't find this as tough. Bold showing expected. GYPSY ROMANCE (5) improved sharply on her fifth two starts back at Nowra with a win over 1m at Orange a week ago, getting home by 0.9 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done again. TILLMAN (9) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 4 lengths away in fifth over 1m at Wagga. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is set to turn things around. FLYING STEP (1) was on a winning run of two races but last time out missed the frame when eighth over 1m at Canberra. Will find this a little easier than last time. Best figures stack up nicely.
