AVENUES (1) was out of the placings last time over 1m2 1/2f at Cranbourne but is a stronger performer at the third run back from a lay-off. Rates highly and can bounce back. BROADFIELD (10) got well back over 1m2 1/2f at Stony Creek last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 5 lengths away in eighth. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. MASTER POLANSKI (11) finished third two runs back at Hanging Rock then improved last time out to score by 1. 75 lengths as public elect over 1m2f at Woolamai. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves plenty of thought. VADARCHIE (7) raced below his best last time when tenth over 1m2 1/4f at Cranbourne, beaten 9 lengths. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
