STAHNADO (5) booted up from the inside draw to sit on the speed when resuming last start then stuck on well to finish a long neck away in second over 5f at Pakenham. This is a nice drop in grade so she is one of the primary contenders. SKELLIG ROCK (7) is returning from a lay-off of four months. Finished ninth at Seymour over 5f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Aaron Laing. Fitter for a ninth in a recent trial over 5f at Cranbourne. Solid chance when resuming for the new barn. Can bounce back to his best form. BOOM BOOM BETTY (6) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Cranbourne but raced below expectations last time over 5½f at Pakenham, finishing ninth and beaten 4 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
