VALLO (10) ran a much better race at his second outing last start to finish third over 7½f at Cranbourne. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. STARTYOURENGINE (9) finished 2 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 7½f at Yarra Valley, an improvement on his seventh on debut at Wodonga the run before. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. EMPRESS JUPITER (13) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 12 lengths away in ninth over 1m at Werribee after being prominent at the corner. Nicely placed to take this out. CITY WOK (2) finished sixth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1m at Kilmore, beaten only a nose. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
