MISHARE (1) started this prep with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when third over 7f at Cranbourne, beaten 1.75 lengths after she did her best work late. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. EYE FOR AN EYE (3) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.7 lengths from the winner in third over 1m1/2f at Geelong after being prominent at the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MISS TRAMELL (9) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last time over 1m at Wodonga, beaten a long neck. Yet to miss the frame in three starts over this course and distance. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is right in contention. FOREST JIM (2) registered his first win last start over 1m at Bendigo, getting home by a neck. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Harder this time but still one to consider.
