NIGHT COLOURS (10) finds it hard to win with just one success from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 6½f at Seymour, beaten 4 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but she is up to the task. MISTY EMOTIONS (9) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 1.3 lengths over 6½f at Geelong after being in the firing line on the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. BOLD RESPONSE (1) ran below expectations last time at Mornington, finishing sixth and beaten 5 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
