TEQUILA TALKIN (2) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 5½f at Del Mar, beaten only 0.1 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. VORPAL (4) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on August 1 finishing ninth and beaten 18 lengths over 1m1/2f at Del Mar (Turf). Sure to make his presence felt. CONSTANT CONFLICT (7) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 15 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 5½f at Del Mar. Nicely placed to figure in the outcome. BEER MONEY (5) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 9 lengths away in sixth over 5½f at Del Mar. Nicely placed to find some form.
