INSTINCT D' ORO (6) finished in the placings when a nose third on dirt at Los Alamitos Qh in a but then disappointed on turf last time at Del Mar over 5f when seventh, finishing 4.5 lengths from the winner. Strong record with Edgar Payeras in the irons, including a win. Should be in the finish. MR DREAMCYCLE (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Del Mar, beaten 7 lengths. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. ALWAYS ON CAY (3) finished seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5½f at Del Mar, beaten 2.75 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
